Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro was leading Senator Hillary Clinton in an online poll Thursday night conducted by the most listened to radio station in New York, 1010 WINS.

With over 3,000 New Yorkers responding, Pirro led Clinton by 6 tenths of a point, 50.30 to 49.70 percent.

Though the WINS survey is unscientific, it continues a trend that began this week after Pirro announced she intended to challenge Mrs. Clinton.

A Marist College poll released on Wednesday showed Clinton defeating Pirro, 50 to 28 percent. But while Pirro's number hadn't budged from an earlier survey in April, Clinton's support plummeted by 14 points.

Well, even if this means little, if Hillary loses in 06 she can spend her time playing Grand Theft Auto with Bill.

I live in NY state. Lets say Clinton has less chance of losing than you enthusiastically voting for her.

You started out as a promising poster, but instead you turned into something worse than Rip.

Quit posting non-sense threads.

As I recall, he had some reasoning ability. Perhaps I have him confused with someone else, but I don't think so.

I don't recall much in the way of content either. As I said in another thread, I liked him better as LordTyranus, but less well as GeneralGrievous.

Nice sig, BTW - forgive me for borrowing it for a while!

It shouldn't be so surprising tht Hill is slipping in the polls. (This isn't a conservative hill bashing post)

When you vote for a senator you expect them to complete their term. It's not a big secret that she's going to run for Prez in '08 thereby not fulfilling her term in the senate. When a senator resigns their seat the governor appoints someone to fill the position until the next election. Pataki is a republican. If Hill wins, a republican will (most likely) be appointed to fill her seat. Most people know this so the option to elect their senator rather than have one appointed later probably seems like the better option to many people.

Just my two cents.

Pataki knows a republican cant win in NY so he isn't running again.

Far as Clinton losing, it's simply impossible. I don't like the woman, but that's how it is.

It always turns around in favour of the incumbent as the actual election rolls around.

Not only that, but are there scientific polls showing Hillary is in trouble to begin with?

Pataki had a 52% approval rating as of a couple weeks ago. And he is a 3 term governor.

I work in NYC once a week myself. A lot of people don't know Pirro and a decent number of people dislike Hillary.

Out of curiousity, were you one of those "Kerry wins in a landslide" people?
