The quote:

The pitch: Move all your sensitive data hosting to the ONLY secure facility - Hillary's basement! Gather up all the money you can get and send it to me, as a down payment, and your sensitive data can be hosted by the world's smartest woman who is "focused on cyber security". And if hackers do break in, why, I'll just wipe the disks with a cloth so that you can deny anything embarrassing.

P.S. Don't forget to check out our excellent deals on sensitive data. Just tell us what you need, and what you can pay. And this month only, we're offering 20% off secure storage of all documents under subpoena, with two free acting lessons on emulating amnesia.

LK's epic fail prompted you to post one of your own, apparently.

"soft targets like the DNC is not as equipped to prevent them as the Department..."

The DNC got wrecked because the clearly did next to nothing to protect their data. The "Russian" hacker conjugates English quite well which is a surprise to anyone has ever attempted to communicate with a Russian via digital means.

Also, if the department is so good why didn't Hillary want her email there?

Asking a Trump supporter to act with class is like asking a hungry lion not to eat an elk. It's just so unlikely to actually happen there's no point. Someone that would support Trump doesn't even begin to understand the concept of class.
Lots of class going on in this forum. :\

I dismiss the whole email scandal as bullshit in the first place. There's a little bit of Hillary's bullshit buried under a mountain of it supplied by the vast right wing noise machine.
At least you've finally admitted there is some Hillary bullshit. There is hope yet.

Obviously the DNC neglected the first rule of cyber security - locating the server in a multimillionaire's basement.

Huma already answered this question. Apparently doing government business on government assets per government policy "doesn't make a whole lot of sense"

If Senator Clinton is focused on cyber security she will remove Marijuana from the schedule one list so that the government can hire the most talented people who know about security instead of passing on them because they do drugs.

It’s no secret that the federal government is having a hard time hiring cybersecurity experts, largely because many hackers can find more lucrative deals that don't involve working for the feds. But there's another wrinkle: the FBI now says that its drug-testing policies are keeping experts off the payroll.

According to the Wall Street Journal, FBI Director James Comey said that in order to pursue so-called cyber criminals, the government would pretty much have to let government hackers get stoned—because who's going to quit the habit just to work for the FBI?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...kers-havent-smoked-marijuana-three-years.html
The FBI could be set to reverse its policy of not hiring staff who have smoked marijuana in the past three years after struggling to recruit computer hackers.

At the annual conference of the White Collar Crime Institute, the director of the agency told the audience that the policy means they can't take on some of the staff they would like.

The FBI announced last year that it was increasing its workforce and expanding its suspect-surveillance programmes.

It is thought these will include tactics more commonly associated with underground computer hackers and other tech-savvy criminals.

But as potential employees aren't allowed to have smoked the drug in the last three years, the agency say they now have a recruitment problem.

'I have to hire a great work force to compete with those cybercriminals, and some of those kids want to smoke weed on the way to the interview', director James Comey said, according to the Wall Street Journal.

He also talked about how the FBI was discussing how to amend its marijuana policy to combat the recruitment problem.
