She must be gearing up for her 2016 election campaign and wants to stay quiet and out of the crosshairs and say something that can be used against her later.. . . I'm not sure what chance she has. She's got too much of a history going against her. Several of my staunch (D) voting friends have said they probably won't vote for her. . .

The current fiasco offers no opportunities to look good. Better to duck and cover 'til it is sorted out. As Hillary isn't in office at the moment, interjecting herself into the mess could only damage her. It's a good time to be writing a memoir. Build up the coffers and be ready to hit the talk shows in a few months.

It is her election to lose IMO. I would think Christie is the only candidate on the GOP side who could compete well with her, and he is probably too sane to be nominated.

After the crap of the last several years I'd want a break too. She's to Obama what Powell was to Bush.

Christie is doing the same thing. If he wins the primary I'll vote for him. Otherwise I'll vote D.

She'll be too old anyway. After that fall where she hit her head and couldn't make all those silly hearings, well, I'm not sure she's up to the task.

I agree with you that Hillary is too old. Quite frankly I don't know why she'd want to offer herself up for another round of public abuse. I guess one has to have the ego of a President in order to run for President.

Expect Huma and the Muslim Brotherhood to play a central role in Republican opposition to Hillary.

Hillary and Bill are prepping Chelsea to run. They want to have a baby soon so she can be a mother running for President.
That would be like Jesse Jackson's 1988 run all over again. "What are your qualifications to be President?" "Ah, um, I ate lots of dinners with some folks who were in office." Chelsea is too young to run in 2016 anyway.

Edit: Scratch that, I thought the Pres had to be forty. Looks like Chelsea's shoo-in.

So I guess if you have no marketable skills you run for President? I can only imagine how that will work out. Oh...wait...

For the conservative mind that thrives on hate and fear, the absence of Hillary from the scene is a disaster they have to repair. I suggest penis whips and a Hillary blow-up doll for nightly entertainment. Please, for God's sake, don't expose the rest of us to your perversions, and keep this shit our of P & N threads unless you want me feeding you Hillary for breakfast.

Given our current and last president, we could do worse than Hillary.
Times weren't too awful bad with Bill in charge. I'll say that.

Many presidents leave office and should be under indictment. I really don't like putting them in when they should be under indictment. Hillary has had a storied career of lawlessness. See links in my sig to refresh any memories that have grown foggy.

I like Bill Clinton, though I am not sure I like Hillary. I was very disappointed in her term as Secretary of State.

Hillary isn't too old to run, i mean John McCain Ran for president

And that worked out so well...

Thanks to that dottering old fart, and people voting someone with no qualifications because it was 'historic', we're where we are today.

Go ahead an call me racist so I can laugh at you. My ancestors worked on the underground railroad - for which I am extraordinarily proud.

I would rather the first female president be a veteran, after all the first male president was a general.

She's too old to hold the office the same as McCain. We've seen the antics of a befuddled mind from him with regularity.

Interesting perspective. I've never really thought of Hillary as particularly old, but if she runs in 2016 she'll be only 3 years younger than McCain was when he ran in 2008.

She'd be a bit younger than Reagan when he was first elected (not that I am holding that up as a uniformly successful Presidency - in retrospect it seems fairly clear he was suffering from senile dementia in at least part of his second term).

I won't be surprised if she's the next Executive. And I agree with the OP as to why she's been quiet as her advisers told her to do so.

She's too conservative and modernly liberal.

The 4 people who would truly be any "change" whatsoever are all out of congress (Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, Barney Frank, and Jim Beam Traficant) and they were also all House Members only one of whom would be good for liberty. But the Ascendancy is a conservative office and controlled by conservatives, so the Executive State will collapse before that happens. I really want to be dead at least 3 years before then with that death painless and not inflicted by someone else.:)

I keep hearing people say this; what exactly are you referring to? (I was pretty young and apolitical during the Clinton administration; the most I remember about her from that time are Mad TV's parodies)
