Cant have the political class being forced into the same system as the peasants. I find it rather amusing one of their concerns was brain drain. Their fear was rising health care costs would drive away smart people to work elsewhere. hmmm

Anyways another example of our govt leaders not adhering to the programs they pass for the rest of us. When will Obama exempt the Unions? That cant be far behind.

How do so many people post about this without understanding it? Congressional employees were subject to a special ban on having their employer contribute to their premiums, which has now been removed. Unless you are claiming that the rest of the US was somehow subject to a similar ban, this makes them more like the rest of us, not less.

The notion of any kind of "brain drain" from DC is absolutely comical to say the least.
