I remember the first experience, I was 6 and I walked behind my father as we followed an Icicle branch in the Alpine Lakes, I drew a little page just for myself, it had large trees and a river as my background. My father doesn't remember it, but I remember the camp trips near friday harbor, being afraid because I didn't know the friends and they changed as they drank.

As I move into a place of solitude I've confrunted myself. I enjoy music-one of my favorite composers died today - Andrew Hill -. Spectrum is my favorite arrangement.

Being self aware is a healthy attribute ;)

I posted this on the RRF too *S*

I didn't have a horse, but my grandfather did, the horse's name was 'midnight'. I am working towards owning a horse of my own.

Stupidity, utter stupidity, from some rambling idiot. Suddenly he realized that his friend from out of town had returned to his hotel without his wallet. Being a good friend, he picked up his friend's wallet and stared at the stupidity on the forums in utter amazement. After a while he went out and left the forums and walked back to the hotel in the rain.

He found out she was in the hospital. Outside the room, in the hall, he spoke to the doctor. "Is there anything I can do to-night?"
"No. There is nothing to do. Can I take you to your hotel?"
"No, thank you. I am going to stay here a while."
"I know there is nothing to say. I cannot tell you--"
"No," he said. "There's nothing to say."
"Good-night, I cannot take you to your hotel?"
"No, thank you."
"It was the only thing to do," he said. "The operation proved--"
"I do not want to talk about it."

I would've been proud of you had you remembered Hemingway's last line in A Farewell to Arms.

Been out of school a long time and only read old philosophers and study guides.

I've also killed too many brain cells to remember specific passages that I've read only once ;)

I appreciate the quotes anyways.
