Hijacked sign in and log in webpages in IE 6.0

Whenever I click on a sign in or log in button, the IE is redirected to a "this page can't be displayed" screen.
I have spybot, adaware se, norton intenet securities, spysubtract and Mircosoft antispyware beta. I keep all of these updated weekly and not one of these can find the "bug" that has hijacked my log in buttons.
I am sure that there must be some REGISTRY key that has been redirected, but I have no clue how to find it on my own.
Can anyone please help me?
I found a HOSTS file online that was supposed to redirect the redirecting bug to fail, but that has not worked either!!
I have even installed IE 7.0 beta hoping that it would reset the little crumb. It did not work.

Please help me regain control over my computer. I am having to use my son's gaming pc to communicate in this forum.

Thanx

if these are SSL secured logins, you may want to make sure your computer's SSL files are installed and runnign properly.

You may also want to try using MS AntiSpyware Beta to reset your browser settings, see the Advanced Tools section. Run WinSockFix too. If that doesn't help, post a HijackThis logfile.

Bigger picture: you have a son, eh? If he uses your computer, I'd suggest making him use a Limited account.

Thank you for replying, but I don't know how to do that. Could you please explain how?

Thanks

Ah... My first reply was regarding the SSL files.
I have used MS Antispyware to do what you suggested and run WinsockFix as well. These did not help.

My son uses his own computer thankfully.

Thanks for the replys.
