Hijacked RC5 work units?

My stats are way off. I am really concerned that 2 days ago my WU stat showed 556 WUs for a 24 hour period. All are on a persistant connection and 8 PCs are cracking code 24/7. Only the computer I am on now has activity that would block constant cracking. These PCs are 1.1 gig,850m,933m,533m,400,m450m,500m CPU's. I watch them like a hawk. They continue to crack code.

Now I just did a flush on this box and the following was what I saw:

>>> (Keyserver says "UD likes cows (IVO/3)<<<

I have never seen this keyserver says message before, and it has now arroused my suspecion.

Could someone tell me if my WU's have been hi jacked, or is Nuggets servers screwed up again?

I usually crack in the range of 2500 to 3500 with as high as 4000 a day. Something is going on.

Anyone?:Q

Thanks, that did ease my mind. 🙂

Now I need to find out why my WU count is so low. The 'puters never stopped cracking. And they dumped the WU's somewhere. But they aren't showing up in my account. At least not at the level they where in the past.

Ugg, something's definately not right for you. My own stats are correct, so that means that it's not a system wide problem, and is only a small group of people at best.😱 What pproxies do you use? It's possible, although unlikely, that some of your blocks got stuck somewhere.

Hi Virge,

I have been sending these WU's the same way as day one over 2 years ago. I do not belong to a subgroup or anything. I just do the generic upload that came with the first install of DNET. I am puzzled as to what has happened to them. I don't think my ISP has been eatting them, but perhaps stranger things have happened with Charter.net.😉

I will see what happens with tonights stats. If it persists, then I may contact Nugget for some solution.

It could be that that particular keyserver hasn't forwarded your blocks to the keymaster yet. I remember a few times where they needed a reboot to get things unplugged. Hopefully your output will come out in the wash in the next day or two. 🙂
