good idea, California has dumb liquor laws. When I visited my Bro-in-Law in Spring Texas we drank while driving (legal) to the fireworks stand to buy fireworks. And not whimpy sparklers either they were pretty cool - expensive though. I'm sure getting a DUI is easy when you're drinking while driving, but the fact it's legal to drink a Newcastle while you're on the highway is pretty sweet if you ask me.

Then you must have done that a few years back, as of 2001, an open container of alcohol is illegal in Texas.
