Question Highpoint RR 640L randomly disconnecting

Hello. I've got a weird problem with my Highpoint RR640L card. I've had it running a raid0 array for just to provide some fast storage for cache files, but every now and again the raid would disappear and then after a reboot appear again. I've unRaided the drives and just had them initialised as 4 separate volumes to run a SMART check on them with CrystalDisk. The smart check seems to have gone ok yesteday but now all of the 4 drives connected to the card disconnected again even though they are not raided into one drive now. The drives are just simple 500gb Samsung Evo850s. I'm running this on a windows 10. I have tried swapping the raid card completely with a new one but it seems to still disconnect. Could anyone point me to the direction of a solution for this? I'm not even sure how to diagnose the problem! Can provide more details if needed
