I am running a KT7-RAID, with which I've had few problems. A while ago, I formatted just to clean things up,but when I reinstalled WinME, then my 4-in-1 (4.33v), and then the 370 drivers (1.2.0612), the next time I restarted I got an error saying that a file KERN386 was missing or corrupted. I tried to restart again, but this time it wouldn't even let me get to windows in safe mode, but kept telling me a file was missing and to type in the path of the windows loader for that file. I've used the RAID controller for more than a year without problems, so I can't figure out what is going on. Any suggestions?
I'm using the 3C Abit bios, but had been using that prior to this incident without problem.

Go back to the older Hotpoint drivers, the 612 were nothing but problems I use the 1.11.0512 , the 612's have been reported with the most problems,
Also you may want to try the latest bios, it's rock stable for me with the 512's Look here
