highpoint 370 and CDROMS

So i have a MB w/ the HPT370 controller, bios level: 2.34

Just updated drivers to newest version and my CDROM and DVDROM no longer show up, i did driver rollback but the problem persists. I kno thw drives work fine as if I put them on the onboard IDE controller they show up. Any thoughts?

I learned this the hard way. Highpoint and raid controllers in general do not like optical drives. I had to stick my hard drives on the controller and have my optical ones on the mobo connectors.
