So far ive had a very bad experience with highpoint.
1st: the ubuntu .deb files on the website were incorrectly written and i had to go in and edit their own installer scripts then fiddle for 3 hours with dpkg to unflag the install as failed... i got this working. Dont bother having a driver for nix and specificaly a distro if you havnet tested it....
2nd: the manual has nill documentation on the LED outputs... i have been fighting with it for days and i think the pins just arent doing anything. I hooked up a multimeter and nadda... The failure leds are staying on constantly.
3rd: after requesting support i was asked to update to bios 1.1, this proved pointless as the hpt windows loader does not run and their tech support is baffled. So i turned to dos and it warns me no eeprom found.. again tech support is baffled.
At least it performs fairly well despite the horrible tech support and documentation.
