i need to replace someone's video card for them, it would be used for 2d applications only, but needs to be very reliable. and pci. any recommendations?
amount of memory doesn't matter. availablility is also sorta important.

thanks.

If there are any Fry's nearby, I think they're again offering 4MB Kaser SiS 6326 PCI cards (sometimes they offer a Trio AGP instead) for $20 - $20 rebate. Kaser seems to handle their own rebates, and they're reasonably fast. Fry's also has Visiontek 8MB TNT2 Vanta PCI cards, but neither my friend or I have been able to make them work in any VIA mobo.

Matrox G200 is a pretty badass 2D AGP card and pretty reliable as well... i could even play UT at 800x600 on it...
