After scoring my Inspiron 9100 for $800 last week (like in the deal) I wanted to make sure that I didn't kill it with heat, as I did with my previous laptop. I bought a Lapcool2 laptop cooler from Directron and this thing is great. Powered off the USB port, thin, lightweight, incredibly quiet with speed-controllable fans. And...if you have an Inspiron the blue aluminum alloy the thing is made of exactly matches the blue trim on the laptop. For $30 this device has been shown to decrease your laptop temps by 10 degrees centigrade. A good investment IMHO.
