I have the following assload of numbers:

baseball stats

Now is there anyway for me to pull out one column of stats? Like just the hits per game since 1900?

I wanna put them in a spread sheet but cant think of any other way besides manually typing them in..

thanks

You could create tables out of those stats in Word or Excel and then be able to select a column from any tbale. It would still require some manual tweaking to create the tables but it'd be faster than typing it all in.

I remember the COBOL editor we used to use in college (name escapes me) used to have this ability. I realize this is not really helpful to you but i really liked that ability for some reason. I will have to give this nedit a try...
