Highlander: The Source

It premiered on Sci-Fi tonight. Thoughts anyone? I thought it ruled. It was the first movie without Christopher Lambert and it lacked his presence but Adrian Paul picked up the reigns. The ending was a complete twist and many shocking discoveries were made that completely changed the whole premise of the series.

YES I'm glad someone else on here watched it. It's definitely Duncan's Highlander 2. Hopefully if they somehow get the OK to make another they'll just remake a sequel to Endgame.

I followed it on IMDB periodically, I knew it was "coming out" in September, then someone made a thread about the Sci-Fi premiere so I just marked it.

Man that was horrible. I knew it was going to be bad just watching the first couple of minutes, but I though, Hey this is highlander, maybe they will have some good headchopping action. Nope. The end battle sucked

I caught the end of this...what the hell was up with the super fast movement? Man, the average battle at the end of the a highlander: the series episode was better then that.

so in this series we go from great story->sci fi stupid story-> Ok highlander film that goes back to orginal story-> good movie that is sopposed ot end it -> back to shitty sci-fi.

WTF!? man it sucked. glad i didn't pay for it.

It has the characters, but the plot reeks, cinematography was weak, no continuity, as PingSpike said, a typical episode of the TV series was 20X better.

Whoever greenlighted the movie should have his head lopped off.

The only good one was the first.
The 2nd made no damn sense at all.
The third (Mario VanPeebles) made almost no sense, but was kind of fun to watch.

The show wasnt that hot, and the most recent one I saw (death of Conner) was god-aweful.

I liked the series, Highlander 1, and Highlander: Endgame. Highlander 2 was mildly amusing, but not very good. I don't think I could stand much of Highlander 3. End Game was good though, I liked that.

I'll have to see Source though.

I think most can agree that Highlander: Raven was the worst though.

Yeah Amanda sucked. I hated her in the series too.

Did Uwe Boll direct this one? It seemed like a movie he would make. They never really did explain what the Source was, did they? They explained the meaning of "there can be only one" which is kind of dumb considering that they spent all the time fighting and each other thoughout the movies and TV series. I also don't wuite understand why several immortals would band together if they thought there could only ever be 1 of them at the end?



I liked what I saw of the series even though I only watched a few episodes.

The series was great.
This movie however , wasn't worth the film it was printed on.

I'm actually planning on watching the series all the way through now. I've seen about 20 episodes scattered throughout the seasons and I'm finally motivated to get the full scoop.
