Just put together a Danger Den TDX watercooling rig on the old Athlon box; trying to squeeze a few more MHz out of it while I go about convincing my fiance that I need an A64.
As it stands, I've got my non-mobile Barton 2800+ at 2500MHz, 200x12.5, running ~39C idle/42C load. It's dead stable at 1.95V, and I'd like to push it a bit farther but since I've been using air until a few weeks ago that makes me nervous. I'm not too worried about hastening the chip's eventual death, as long as we're not talking a matter of weeks before it goes. So long as the temps stay in the same neighborhood, can/should I push it? For that matter, can I expect much more out of a Barton?
