Highest Refresh Rates

I'm looking for a program or setting that will make my monitor always use the highest possible refresh rates.

Right click, hit properties, set the monitor to highest framerate. Done.

Not quite... I want it to *always* use the highest possible refresh rate without me having to change it so often.

Use Refresh Force for ATi cards (don't forget to turn off DDC).

Though that led to another problem, which is having to adjust the screen often, it keeps getting out of place, not too far, but far enough to see black area all around the sides. Anyone heard of refresh force causing that?

I think your monitor will keep the screen settings for each resolution with each refresh rate?

Yeah, that's where I don't get the issue. Why do you have to change the refresh rate?
