highest 9600pro overclock?

well i recently got a gigabyte 9600pro im extrememly happy with it, makes a change from a geforce2 mx. anyway ive been overclocking it at 485/660. is that the most i can get out of it? and if so will some heatsinks or a new fan make much of a difference? whats the best overclock youve seen a 9600pro at?

i had mine @ 515/720 but it had samsung 2.86 ns memory

That?s a pretty good 9600pro overclock. Shady had an exceptional 9600pro. 😀

From what I?ve read, installing a larger heatsink/fan setup on the GPU doesn?t usually gain much in additional MHz as the GPU on a 9600pro runs pretty cool to begin with on the stock setup. IIRC one person only got about 15-20 additional MHz with a much larger heatsink/fan. Very likely not worth the hassle.
