Higher temps with same cpu on different mobos...WTF??

I won a Neo 2 Plat and switched out a Winny3200@2550 that ran prime 95 for several hrs alst night with 1.57v@2400..temps never pushed past 48C..with XP90/Vantec stealth 92mm fan and AS5

I upped the bios to 1C beta..to recognize venice cpus

I have a venice 3200@2750 on dfi mobo that was getting 1.57/1.59v with XP90/Vantec Stealth fan/AS5 max load temp was 48/48C

Ok..I remove the Winny and put in the Venice place XP90/Vantec fan/AS ceramique not AS5 because when i removed the Winny despite running prime95 and unscrewing the the retention bracket...the AS5 pulled the cpu from the socket!!!!..but no pent pins

so I setup the neo 2 and run 275 fsb, 3xhtt, same vdimm,agp voltage, 1.5+ 8.3vid=1.58v
I get temps hitting 58C

I lowered oc and vcore but temps are still much higher with this new venice with same XP90 and fan I used on my DFI mobo

I did recheck HSF..seems to sit fine on the cpu

is AS5 really that much better than AS ceramique..5C..I used a small dab in center of IHS as per AS website

I am going to reseat the HSF but I do not see how this will do anything

mobo temp diodes arn't exactly accurate.

I understand this but the winny..getting same vcore had a lower temp

so I figured it should be close since it ran cool on my dfi mobo

I wonder is going back to AS5 is worth it
