Hi. Not wishing to dis anyone's knowledge here, but recently I've begun to realize that the tech questions I have are now falling beyond the remits of the vast majority of Anadtechers. I'm also down to just one AMD computer now against two Apples and several Intels, so I risk being injured here.... :D

Is there somewhere else I can hang out for purely tech issues, a hardcore site for rabid experts? I have a lot of questions, most of them minor but stuff that my own techs can't answer (they say "Yeah, I'll find out and get back to you"... and that's the end of it).

I think your question falls beyond the remits of most OTers, whatever remits are.

Well - they aren't highly technical, what I meant by beyond most OT'ers is that most of my queries are with corporate IT equipment, not home/hobbiest/AMD kit.

??? You install telegraph poles?

No, smartass.

I deal with a fairly broad spectrum of Nortel equipment. (DMS-100/500, Access Node, Optera Metro, Transport Node, etc.)

Don't try and write me off because I hang in OT. There are a lot of intelligent professionals here.

With that degree you'll do just fine. Telcos will be getting in line to hire you...

... and they pay pretty good too. :p

*edit* and telco network support/engineering skills are great to have, as they are portable pretty much anywhere in the world.

Do I hear injured pride? :D IT WAS A JOKE.
I think we need a 'bladder on a stick' icon as well as the other ones, just so that you know... I mean that many people seem to hang out in OT but not much in other areas. Don't know about you.
