Higher FSB Require Cooling for Harddrive?????

I'm using FIC 503+ @112FSB, and want to move up to 124FSB. I have a Maxtor Diamond Max Plus 7200RPM HD. An o/cer recently said he had to put direct cooling on his harddrive to reduce problems when using 124FSB. (He was also doing some extreme o/cing which I don't plan.) Frankly, this harddrive cooling doesn't seem necessary to me as I assume Maxtor anticipates use of faster bus speeds, but then I want to do the safe route too. Appreciate your input.

I see no correlation between the two. The HDD's are running faster (mechanically).

At times I have however found benefit in shortening the IDE cable when pushing the FSB.
