Question about banks with high APYs for large long-term deposits ($1 million and up) -- how high do banks go with the interest rates -- are there any that go higher than 4 or 5%? I ask because I heard someone from the UK mention an 8% APY and was just wondering if that sort of thing really exists straight from a bank.

Thanks

HSBC online saving account.

8% in UK? I don't think it works that way in the global market.

You can get a private Swiss Bank Account in Zurich. For accounts over $1M you'll have a private advisor that will help you park the money. I like UBS since their investment products and private banking system is more sophisticated than the smaller banks.
