In Downtown San Diego right now. The high wind is pounding our building. I'm on the 11th floor and it is SCARY!!!! Man, why can't they lay it on us nice and slow like Keith Sweat does in his songs? 🙁

11 floors is tall?

I'm pretty sure you have tornado warnings. Shouldn't be on the 11th floor otherwise you'll just get sucked right out and dropped like a rag doll.

Yep, you've got an active tornado warning which means funnel clouds have been spotted (mini tornadoes). You need to be in a secure place like the basement or other emergency shelter for your building.

This building has 24 floors. All around, the blinds are swaying and it feels like I'm on a large boat. Not to mention, it sucks to know thee are 13 floors obove me that's also stressing from the wind. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts.

Here's your award for POSTING instead of RUNNING down to the basement.

Funnel cloud isn't a mini tornado. Tornado = touching the ground. Funnel cloud = not touching the ground. They can be the same size.

That tornado warning was until 2:30PM this afternoon and only extended as far south as Encinitas...not to downtown San Diego.

Update: I see that it has been extended south to San Diego and to 3:15PM.

It is windy as hell here today. Gusts up to 60mph are expected.
