High Temps with new MSI K7T Turbo

Just got my new board this week. Changed all componets from Abit KT7-RAID to new unit. While running with Abit, my temps were nice and cool (20c idle and 35 under load). Now with new K7T Turbo my temps are lots higher. About 48 to 50c. Is this board more prone to higher heat values? Same chips (Duron 600@1000/750 T-Bird@1100) and HSF, all componets are the same. Maybe I got a problem here. Everything runs fine, just makes me wonder why such high heat values. If someone have any suggestions, would be glad to hear them.

TIA

have you tried putting some ice on top of your hs yet? that might bring the temps down.

I think MSI have gone a little carried away with adding software compensation in BIOS. Or could this be the real temp. but we were not aware of it... It very much depends how it's been measured right? I have MSI K7T Pro2 + 1GHz Tbird@ 1.15GHz that runs 48C max. max. and the same setup on MSI K7T Turbo reads 60C+, no improper HSF mounting, using SuperOrb cooler...
