High Speed Train Rail Material Science

I am currently in the process of researching the materials and properties of High-speed train track rails and am not having much luck finding resources. If anyone has ever done any research in this area, or knows any good resources I would appreciate it.

What type of trains? Bullet trains, Maglev etc...

The direction I choose to go was conventional wheel on track style high speed trains, but if I can find more information for maglev I could change my scope.
