No, I have a problem with CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS receiving freebies BITCHING about the quality of their freebies. I thought I was pretty clear and consistent about that. Its called reading for comprehension.... When I say something in plain English thats EXACTLY what I mean, I don't mean some fantasy that you generate in your head.

Jesus, if I say I like the Packers, will you use your handy dandy reality distortion device to interpret that I hate the Packers? LOL.

Hey I like this snarkey version of myself....

Hmm, interesting, I was unaware the definition of 'freebie' was 'pay all your god damn taxes but dont expect to be allowed to complain about how they are spent, because only the good liberals get to make those decisions for the rest of us.'

I don't know what appropriate punishment is, but if there is a record of him being asked not to do it he needs some punishment. It seems pretty clear to me that what the teacher says happened in that vid is what happened. You can see his face tuck very unnaturally toward her neck; that was no benign hug. He did what she said he did. Even without a record it seems a clear case of overstepping his bounds. Her reaction was quite immediate, and not surprising.
Wasn't a hug. That was him disrespecting his teacher by treating her like she was just some young bitch that he wanted to play with.
That's what it looks like.
Aw c'mon, the tax is paid by property owners, not the parents. Taxpayers without children pay the vast majority of the cost for the parents. The typical property owner pays maybe 500 bucks for the schools while the ACTUAL cost per pupil may be 10-20K. So a property owner with 1 child is paying maybe 5% of the cost of his kids education. If said property has 5 kids attending school simultaneously, he is paying 1% of the cost of kids education. I not only pay 100% of the cost of my kids education, I also pay the cost of all the freeloaders. Nothing annoys me more than hearing the freeloaders bellyache. Perhaps we should revert back to the sytem where all parents paid 100% of the cost of their child's education, it would at least teach them to appreciate the awesome bargain they are getting.
This is, on its face, absurd. And in depth it is as well. Everybody pays taxes, but of course a 60 year old with no kids in school doesn't care as much about the school quality as a parent with kids in school. I pay taxes that go toward special needs children. Do I really have an interest in how those kids are being treated? No, I have no special needs kids; I expect parents of those kids (who pay no more taxes than I, but reap all the benefits) to be the ones to speak out to matters that they don't agree with. Percentages one pays in taxes do not at all equate one's right to complain. Disagree? I guess you better never complain about poorly maintained roads or other infrastructure; after all, it's the 1%ers who are paying their disproportionate share, so only they get to bitch.

Bingo! It was an assault, he should not only be booted from the school, he should be criminally prosecuted.

Um.... u serious bro? I don't believe I have ever heard of a criminal prosecution of a hug. Boy that would keep the prisons full though.

Side note: Are we in some kind of contest to see who can make the dumbest comment?

It wasn't just a "hug" it was unwanted personal contact that he'd be warned about previously. You got a daughter or a Mother this guy can "hug"?

I'm curious - are you aware that there are states where there isn't a teacher's union? Why don't you move to one of those states and have your children educated there instead. I mean, after all, they must do a better job! Statistically, though, they don't - they rank at the bottom.

no they don't. california has a very strong teacher's union, and we rank at the bottom. ;)
