OTOH, the fact that he got 2 DAYS of ISS for kissing her on the forehead is COMPLETELY MORONIC. I guess this hits home for me because I was once put in ISS for 2 days for saying the DREADED F WORD by a vice principal who measured his success by whether or not his ISS room had people in it. He never stopped to ask just WHY a kid who had never been in trouble before was yelling obscenities at a student twice his size....a kid who DID have a record of being in trouble a lot. This guy puts people in ISS for CARRYING a hat with them. Not even wearing it.

This jackass sounds about the same. I agree that kissing in school is inappropriate, but come on...2 days of in-school for THAT? Give the kid a fuggin' detention and call it a day. Is 2 days in-school going to somehow get the point across more effectively than a detention?

I think this anti kissing thing is incredibly stupid. Half having sex in the halls is a different story, but a peck on the forehead? That is just being anally rediculous. If you don't like it, dont look at it, but the hell im going to change every part of how I act in my life becuase some people don't like it. At the same time I really found the fact that the kid is more upset in missing his damn football game then over the fact that he isn't allow to physically express how he feels towards his girlfriend. Then again, im sure the blond hair dark black eyebrows says it all right there. I want to know what his girlfriend has to say for that matter. And Why Any Parent Would Ever Subject Their Children To Such Controlling, Ignorant, People as the ones that run the educational system where he is at. No need to sue or anything, but how bout putting your child in a place to learn where he can atleast semi express himself without fear of being suspended.

He's a high school student. They tend to have bad hair (go dig up your yearbooks and tell me I'm wrong) and they tend to wax melodramatic about things that are essentially meaningless to older folks.

That said, this is a mind-numbingly stupid punishment for a relatively innocuous act. It's not like they were knocking boots on the floor or anything. Rules are rules, but this kind of pedantic devotion to them is just stupid. :disgust:
