Hmm i think i just stumbled upon something interesting. I'm not sure, but i think here in Toronto, records of students are only kept in the school that they've attended, and only for a year. After they are deleted, the only record in existance is a plain piece of paper with a list of credits and marks. Am i missing something here, or is it ridicuously easy to forge a high school diploma here? Theoretically, all you would have to do is sign up at a school, and never show up. Then come there a year later with a piece of paper (which is just that, a piece of paper written in Notepad) that states that you have all but one of the required credits, take one course and get your diploma. The hell?! Is it like that all over Canada, or even US? Or is it just some mistake made by the local board? Or maybe i was just misinformed?

yeah, here in the us (at least at my school) they keep pretty detailed records both on computer and on paper. if i tried to forge something, it would definitely be noticed.

wouldn't they just keep all the records on the school board intranet or something??

That sounds a little too easy....
