Other - depends. I rarely am approached to buy any items, but if it's a sports team going door to door, or at the local supermarket, i'll give them a few bucks...whether that's for a discount card, or candy bars or whatever.

I'll buy something if it's something I'd want to buy. I usually won't buy from people just because it's a fundraiser.

Even if it's expensive? Say you want some cookie dough, but said cookie dough from the fundraiser will cost you $20, while buying it at the store will cost you $5. Would you still buy from the fundraiser?

I think it's safe to assume (s)he's not a moron.

$20? Um no. If it was $8 like i've seen around here...then possibly...depends on my mood. For 20 they better be sprinkling it with crack

Yes, but there are people who give $20 donations out to fundraisers.

Alright, a little exaggeration there at $20. But a box of cookie dough (I think it makes something around 30 cookies?) is between $13 and $20 and I'm sure you can get it for much less at a store.

No. I especially like it when cub/boy scouts ask me to buy popcorn. Their parents get real pissed when I tell them, "I'm sorry, I cannot support an organization that discriminates against homosexuals and atheists."

I went to private school... they hit me up for donations once a year during their annual fund raiser, and I usually give $20 just to get kept on the alumni newsletter.

I don't donate to my local public school, though... that school is a total wasteland.

I hate going to stores on Saturdays in nice weather because they're always hitting you up for something. No way in hell am I going to pay for the child of someone who makes more money than I do to go to Florida for a band recital or baseball spring training or some nonsense like that.
