High School Computer Organization/Club?

Well our school doesn't have any clubs that are related to computers or technology and I am interested in starting one. I was just interested if your highschool or the highschool you attended has a computer club or something related or similar. Also, what did you guys do? Play games? hold seminars?

Need ideas...
 
I few years ago I was my HS computer club president. I hate to tell you this, but HS computer clubs (and most computer clubs in general) are dead.

Years ago.. back in the early 90s and 80s, computer clubs served the community by providing tech support and a sense connection. Now, however, there seems to simply be no need for HS comp clubs....

I could be wrong.
 
We had a TV station at our school. All the computer geeks were part of that because we got to use computers to do editing and big honking cameras and such to tape sporting events. Was fun.
 
computer club -- we hosted LAN parties as fund raisers. Best fundraisers EVAR!

Then we used the fundraising money to have guest speakers, from lucent and IBM. We also used it to create and eventually upgrade a mini computer lab.
