High Refresh Rate + DSR/VSR

Hey ya'll need some of your help here.

Those of you who have 1080p/1440p high refresh rate monitors, how does utilizing the high refresh work with DSR/VSR?

What is something like 4k DSR at 1440p/120hz like?

There seems to be a limit of 60fps when using 4K VSR which was very disappointing to me. It is a noticeable improvement in image quality/sharpness but it's not worth losing 144hz for, at least for most games I tried.

Been searching for info about this and there isn't much out there, DisplayPort itself is limited to 4K/60 or 1440/144, but VSR is doing the downscaling 'on the card' so that's not the limitation. In theory 4K VSR/144 should work but it's just not supported and doesn't look like it ever will be.

That was my experience in my search, but I have heard some people talking about doing it with Nvidia cards which gets more talk on forums. Now that I see the LG OLED tvs do 120hz 1080p native I'm curious about that. That'd be a very very nice setup to use for a large screen setup.

120hz 4k downsampled OLED.
