High quality SATA II cables

I need 2 high quality SATA II cables for a RAID setup. I have heard so many conflicting reviews on quality and how this cable is faster and this cable slowed my transfers down, blah blah. Anyone know of any reasonably priced high quality cables that are proven reliable and fast? Please PM me if anyone knows. TIA.

Son of a B!$#&! This wasn't meant for the Hot Deals forum. Somehow I posted it in the wrong forum then got busy and never checked the responses.

EDIT: This post was accidentally posted in the Hot Deals forum and was moved to General Hardware.

the original red ones are probably the best quality, unless Monster decides to make them lol
and if u can keep the original ones attached without falling off

a few tips:

- don't get 90 degree connectors, bend slows data down (like when cars turn corners)
- keep cables as short as possible (shorter = faster, less distance data has to travel)
- get black cables, they're the fastest, reds are second (add racing stripes on them to get more speed)

- you're in the wrong forum

Uhm, you completely omitted:
- Get them cryo-treated every couple of weeks to re-orient the stuck bits in the cable
- Don't connect slower hard drives to SATA ports that are located next to the faster drives. Magnetic slowness induction will take place near the connectors and slow down the faster drive
- The thicker, the better
- The more $$, the better

Yes, thanks for the smart a$$ comments. 🙂 I guess I had it coming. Sorry about posting this in the wrong forum. I totally though this was in the IWanna thread and I got busy at work and never checked for responses. @#%$$^$!

By the way I'll look for the red cables since they should be faster and good point about the right angle ends. That could totally cause a data traffic jam... 😉

good luck..

i use these and like them. they're available in 6/10/12/18/?+ inch lengths, straight & right angles.. just have to search a little. be aware, they're a bit stiffer than the ones that come w/ retail drives (i.e. seagate), but [stealth] black allows [me] a cleaner look.

All jokes aside, I have had issues with latching connectors because I put a little strain on them (the cables are mildly stiff) and it actually broke off the plastic nose on the SATA connector on my Hitachi HDD. Believe me, it did not take much force.
I can still use the HDD but the connector is kind of shot.
So, exercise caution with those latching/locking connectors.
