high quality Ergo keyboard.. where to get?

Where can I get high quality ergonomically shaped keyboard? I want quality and I am willing to spend up to $150 if I'm getting one with the old style reliable mechanical contact. I am using MS Natural Elite right now and I'm not very happy with it. Some keys gets stuck in on positions and some keys squeaks. I opened it up today to give it a complete overhaul and damn this thing is built so shoddy. Parts used could be compraed to cheap plastic model kit as far as quality goes. One big piece of plastic moulded together, then snapped into three pieces instead of three individually molded pieces. The whole thing was like 99% plastic.

The Belkin Ergonomic keyboard is top notch, and has a heavy tactile feel. Another plus--it's PS/2 and not godawful USB.

<< Aren't all keyboards almost 99% plastic? You don't see any fancy leather keyboards, do you? >>

That'd kick ass. Now there's an idea.

<< You should try the Natural Pro...much more rugged and well built than those Elite craptastic models.... >>

Blah, Microsoft is evil...besides, the Belkin Ergonomic is of higher quality and feels better to type on.

<< WinXP, Win2k, and some other various games were decent. >>

Decent, but still evil. Yes, I use Win2k...because I have no choice since I like gaming (no I do not play any Microsoft games).

They've pretty much stopped their evil business practices such as forcing the competition out... hmm... maybe cuz the competition is gone...

It's not so much business practices as it is releasing buggy software, and then addressing it by selling the fix in the form of an upgrade that has new bugs.

I got this one, because the more expensive Natural Pro had those "windows features" keys on top of the keyboard that can't be disabled and I absolutely don't want those extra keys.

bump...

good night for now I'm going to bed.

I'm using an $30 Ergo Keyboard that I bought from CompUSA... its good stuff.

I did a search for the model number (SK-6000) of the keyboard, and it turns out to be manufacturered by Silitek.... Dell also sells these keyboards.

Its not mechanical, but they keys still have a good response.

I also vote for the Natural pro. I use the elite here at work and have the pro at home. The elite has such a cheesy feel to it where as the pro seems more solid and sturdy. Plus the arrow keys on the elite are situated very wierd. I have tested out a few different Erog kb's and the Natural Pro was definately the best choice.
