I get an audible high pitch whine from my SN45G, then XP freezes solid. No BSOD or anything, just freezes. System has been running PERFECT for a week and this is a FRESH XP install. I'm about too toss this POS SN45G out the dam window. It seems as though as soon as I get it running good it starts crashing again.
System specs should be in my sig nd temps according to bios were ~45°C, about where they always run. I tried adding the latest Nforce drivers and graphics drivers to see if that was the cause but they didn't help. Any ideas?!?!?!?! This is the 3rd fresh install of XP I've had to put on this system in as many weeks. There is always something going wrong with this thing lately, and I haven't had it that long!! When I first got it, it ran EXCELLENT but lately it's a POS!
Any idea what could be causing the high pitch whining noise? I thought my cold cathode was it but I shut that off first and it still crashed, now I'm at a loss because I thought the IDE or VGA drivers were the next culprits, nope....... :|
