High pitch tone coming from Antec SL350S

This is the PSU that comes with the SLK3700-BQE. There's a high pitch tone coming from the power supply. The tone cuts in and out.

I'm wondering what I should do. I think the PSU is fantastic with the very quiet stock fan and super cool running even under load. Is this a manufacturing defect or is something about my system potentially causing this?

That is most likely the bearings giving out on the fan. If it's under warrantee, see if you can get the fans replaced.

It's one month old. It sounds more like electrical noise anyway.

Sure its the PSU? Some motherboards are known to make high pitch noises as well.

Positive. I've had motherboards that did the same thing before, this is definitly coming from the PSU. Guess I should just send it to Antec for repair?
