High pitch noise?

I have a mitsu 98' eclipse rs w/ 85xxx miles. So heres the deal, every time I step on the gas pedal, in drive there is a high pitch squeal or noise coming from the pedal. It only happens when I press on the pedal and I have no idea what it is. Its been happening for a while but no problems has risen.

Also quick question, when I have the heat on low...If I turn the wheel all the way to the left or right, some reason the fan speed heats up...Is there a reason for this?

Open the hood, and manually agitate the throttle. Is the squeak coming from any of the belts?

Does the RPM rise when you turn the steering wheel and your fans speed up? I'd say this could be normal, just your car compensating for more stress on the power steering.

Well see, this noise only happens when I'm in drive. If i put it in park or neutral and press on the pedal, there isn't a high whistling sound. I think its air moving through or something but I really don't know.

and I was just curious about the heater thing, not a problem LOL

What about reverse? You should check your transmission fluid.
