I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to hardware tweaking and whatnot, but I have been slowly learning. I have an epox e-k7a+ w/ a 1.4 TB. I have a a taisol 760092 HSF, a sunon 80mm exhaust fan and an intake fan. My FSB is at 133 and my BIOS is set to the 'Fast' setting...and other than these two changes, everything else is at its default. I am using MBprobe to monitor my system temps. My CPU is at 29C at idle, but my motherboard temp is at 41C, which is causing MBProbe to sound a warning...

I have a few questions...
- What the temp range you want to fall in with your MB/CPU
- What could be causing such a higher MB temp than a CPU temp
- Are there any jumper/BIOS settings I should know about and consider changing
- What utilities should I use to put my system under a full load and benchmark it?

Thanks!

mbprobe has them backwards just flip 1 an 2 around in the temp tab and you will be fixed right up. what it is showing as your motherboard temp is actually your cpu temp.
