High gpu temps

Hi guys,

I have the corsair 600t case, and I have added the optional side fans to the case, to help with gpu cooling. I am using sli palit gtx 780 ti gpus. When gaming they tend to reach high temps. I have just started playing witcher 2 (late to the game, I know) to play it safe at first I went with the medium settings even though I know I could easily pull off max settings. When playing witcher 2, both of my gpus reached 72C, this was the max, the gpus tended to stay around 65-70C whilst gaming. What do you think of these temps? Are they too high or fine? Remember I am only playing the game on medium settings.

Thanks all!

That's fine too for these cards. If you are unhappy about these temps you could always play with the fan profile using something like MSI's Afterburner or EVGA's Precision X or even Asus' GPU Tweak.

I have been using Msi afterburner, on the auto profile, which seems to increase 1% per 1C, I'm going to bump it up a bit higher I think.

It's a sin to play Witcher 2 at med settings with 780ti SLI. Crank that baby up.

You are technically safe up to 95c on those cards.

The temp specs are near bottom

I'd keep em <85c. Add more airflow if needed and/or crank up fan speeds through MSI AB.

If vsync is not enabled consider enabling vsync. It will improve temps.

Trust me, I am not wanting to play on med settings ;) I have the max fans I can have on my case at the moment, I will try cranking up the fan profile if I see anything over 80C. Thanks buddy!

What do you think the cpu temps should be like? I am currently getting around 55-65C cpu temp.
