High-Gloss printable DVDs?

I've had my Epson R200 for awhile now, and am about 1/2 way through my 100stack of white-topped, inkjet printable DVDs.

Unfortunately though, no matter how high I ramp up the color saturation, the DVDs print just gon't have that nice shiny gloss.

Only just recently I started buying and printing on the high-gloss 4x6 photo paper and now I know why those DVDs don't come out so shiny...The printable surface isn't high-gloss, so the final finish comes out "flat".

I've Google'd around and have only been able to find high-glass CDRs, but not DVD...And I'm NOT interested in Labels.

thanks.

Well then, I guess TDK found a way...I finally found some info, TDK recently introduced their "PrintOn" line of DVD printables...The "Photo Quality" version is the high-gloss one.

"The flagship product, PrintOn DVD Photo Quality, incorporates a high gloss, inkjet-ready surface that enables printing high-resolution, color-accurate images and graphics on the disc. With PrintOn DVD Photo Quality, reproduction of image files captured by today?s high-megapixel digital cameras is literally picture-perfect, and text, such as DVD chapter names, appear crisp and clear on the disc surface."
