high fsb

how the -------- do people attain high fsb overclocks just built a watercooled system to play with boots runs cool/stable at 14x133 if i try to up fsb with lower clock multiplyer it dont like it any ideas spec below
iwill xp333 r motherboard
athlon xp 2000 unlocked
256mb kingmax 2700ddr
8500 radeon retail
52x cd
floppy
cant understand why it dont like the high fsb should be ok . Any tips etc especially in bios appreciated

Are you sure you correctly unlocked the cpu? Can you access the 13x, 12x, 11x, and 10x dividers at 133?

welcome to the forums!

you got me stumped! back down on memory timings, lower your CPU multiplier and try upping the FSB again... return with results :)

it was the memory timings slowly going up now im at 144x14 ......... 2016mhz..... with this sys touugh should get to at least 166fsb but still going have to find best combo further info in the higher brackets appreciated especially in bios
ps unlocked ok

are you uisng the corect divider? if you are still using the 1/4 divider, it will be difficult to get past ~150 reliably. there should be either a jumper on the motherboard, or a setting in the bios (i never used that mobo) to change the divider to 1/5, so that you can use the 166fsb feature.
