pcp&c are good, but arent they kinda noisy? and trust me cantbprince, the first thing someone would compliment seasonic for is it's quietness.

Fortron Blue Storm 500w.

Can be had for ~$75. Rock stable. Looks cool. Quiet. Good stats on power output.

I love mine, but Seasonic, Antec and OCZ have excellent PSUs. Just a bit expensive compared to the Fortron.

Haha! :music:"Go Genuine! Go MDG!":music:

What a steaming pile.

Anyway, aren't the new Antec TruePower 2.0s pretty quiet?

If you've got a window and you're concerned about aesthetics then go with the OCZ. If you're concerned about noise, then go with the SeaSonic, although the OCZ isn't too loud either. You wouldn't be making a bad choice with either.

I gave up on cable management, so I'd go with Seasonic

PCP&C, Zippy/Emacs and Seasonic are considered the top tier - of course PCP&C does buy most of its parts from Zippy, Seasonic and/or ChannelWell but they do tweak the designs and do the certifications themselves so their PSUs can be considered their own.
. Topower (OCZ et al.), Channel Well (Enermax, Antec, Meridian/XClio et al.), Fortron Group with their multitude of rebadges, Enhance (Silverstone et al.) and perhaps a few others populate the second tier - it's all down hill from there.

Delta also does top tier work (check the DPS-465AB-1A for the HP X4000 workstation - 6 magnificent pounds of power), but you can only buy them on the secondary market as Delta is all OEM these days.
