High end Mobo for Q6600?

Ok, since I've been beating up Aigomorla via PM and dismissing his numerous recommendations, I'd like to get feedback on what everyone considers a "high end" motherboard that would be good for pushing a Q6600 past 3.6GHz on water.

Maybe too expensive or you don't like nVidia chipsets but this Asus Striker II Extreme rocks for me. Been running this OC for a month and its great. I can't stand the wait for my two GTX 280's!

DFI LP UTX48 here. 😉

BRAGGER! I got a DFI LP LT P35 T2R on the way, i'm gonna give it a run vs. my Neo2-FR and see what happens.

EDIT: Aigo tried to talk me into the x48 and x38 but I just can't see spenging that kind of $.

If you keep the hardware for a while and it works like it should the money is well spent. If you change motherboards like some change pants, then you may want to look elsewhere. 😉

If you keep the hardware for a while and it works like it should the money is well spent. If you change motherboards like some change pants, then you may want to look elsewhere. 😉

I have PC-ADD, ask Aigo! 😉 I change parts and my mind more frequently than most change their underpants! :shocked:
