My razer boomslang 2k is starting to fall apart on me! :|

Now that razer have gone belly-up, will there be any new 2000 dpi high end mice?
Does anyone know if logitech or someone else is going to produce such mice? I'd rather not buy a new boomslang because I've already had 2 die on me, and without support i'm not about to walk down that road again...

i dont think logitech or microsoft currently has any high-end mice that are the same as the boomslang, so your best bet would be to buy an optical mouse. both microsoft and logitech offer optical mice, so it's really your choice on which to buy (although i have noticed a few more buying the logitech instead of the microsoft).

This mouse will be used mostly for gaming, i've tried Optical mice for this, and i don't like it, i just can't play with so little sensityvity and decreased accuracy...

Other than the Razors the optical mice are the most senstive and accurate mice you can get. If they aren't sensitive or accurate enough for you, you have no choise but the Big-Snake 2000.

You might want to look into some special CAD type mice, but they are probably very very expensive, and probably aren't the same kind of accuracy you are looking for.

Oh well i'll just have to stick with my BS until something better comes along (or until it totally stops working)...

The shop i bought them from have stpped stocking them because they got so many in return, i could propably get it replaced, but i'll see if anything better comes.
