Im looking for a high end laptop for gaming. Just looking over the last couple days it seems Alienware has the big boy...quad core, dual GPU, etc. I couldnt find anything comperable on Newegg, but are there other options? What do you laptop experts think about the Aleinware?

There's an ASUS gaming laptop at Best Buy that goes for $1200-1300. It's pretty beastly, especially given the price. A better deal than the Gateway FX series ever was.

Check out Falcon Northwest....those folks make the hottest rigs around. Cool website too. If I could afford one, that's where I'd look. Check out their reviews.

I have an M17 with the 4850's/Q9100ES(QS) and in the end it was worth it...got a great deal on it...but for something that probably ...just works out of the box... I vote for a Sager. I also had an Asus G51(GTX 260M) but I thought the screen was pretty terrible...especially for an LED backlit one... The base screen on the M17 isn't too far ahead of the Asus... but the viewing angles are better and that's what mainly drove me nuts about the G51... I hate the fact that the 200M series are based off older tech(Geforce 9 stuff) but NVidia's mobile driver support is way better. If it wasn't for mobility modder and the great people that give us those programs I'd be one unhappy camper right now.

Edit: I like the new M17x's case but if I was going to spend that much I'd rather have a Sager NP9850 with GTX 280M SLI.

Oh yeah, if you do decide to get an M17 and you want to put a quad in it send me a pm and I could send you the copper shim you'll need to stick between the NB heatsink and NB chip...to stop the stuttering you'll experience from the heatsink not sitting flush on the north bridge chip(only quads cause this). I had 7 pieces cut just in case I needed them later...and they were like .13 each.
