where i live HDTV's are prohibitely expensive since they are just entering the market, and a very good 24" monitor is about half as much as a 27" hdtv, whilst providing much better specifications especially resolution-wise.
Now, saying that i get a ps3 and connect it to the LCD, what can i expect? Will the picture look blurry? stretched? The resolution of the monitor i'm interested in is at 1680x1050.
