High end card availability

I disagree.

When I say "high end" - I'm talking the x800xt PE's and the 6800 Ultras. Those are in such short supply right now that anyone who has supply, is gouging people for them. I understand if the card costs $500, but I've seen MANY prices set by pricewatch retailers for over $650.

The market is NOT saturated. The only way these retailers are doing this is because they know supply is very tight right now.

That works if eVGA is your speed. I've not so nice things about their support. If I'm looking for a BFG ultra, that would be more difficult.

After debating the pros and cons I ended up heading over to Monarch and dropping my dime on an ASUS GT. The bundle is pretty good, and I'll likely OC it to Ultra levels in order to maximize the value.
