Hi, I have a 512MB stick of high density ram running my ECS board and it shows up as 480MB in Windows XP. Does this mean that my board is not compatible with it? I kinda figured either it would work find or wouldn't boot at all.

I don't know really know what high density means, but I do know that's what I have. The board I have is a P4MMV2 and the ram is PC133.

Or maybe it's because I have 32MB shared going to the video...hmmm I bet that's it. 480 + 32 = 512. Make sense?

You got it with the integrated video, it takes away from the main system RAM.
