Ok guys I have been reading through page after page on monitors and honestly I just don't understand what you guys are talking about when you talk about panels and other types of stats. Lets do it this way. I want a 20-22 inch widescreen monitor that is great for gaming and can do the HD modes and possibly has inputs for it. I know that will prolly hike the price up but im curious if its out there. The scepter 22 inch says it is capable and many people claim its a good one but for the price what are some monitors to look at. an Example would be a monitor that can play oblivion with the high def settings I hear about being turned on OR that has the HD inputs on it for playing 360 or ps3 from the HD cables. Might even get a blue ray drive so that I can play the HD dvd's on the monitor too.

trying to keep the price under 400 and I wont be getting it till around the end of the month.

Price under $400 kinda hurts you.

You can go with the Sceptre, but you're going to get a TN panel. The TN panel which is 6-bit. It suffers from bad viewing angles, less than desirable pixel pitch and washed out colors.

For the best experience based on what it sounds like you want out of this monitor, I would look at the NEC 20WMGX2. That, however, is going to run you $600.

I appreciate the feedback but that would be rediculosly out of my price range. For that price id be better off getting a lcd tv around 27 inches.

Get the dell 20.1'' widescreen. It has HDCP and will do 720p I'm assuming and is $289 ($249 if you can wait for a sale)

I think the 22 inch version is 399, I could be wrong
