I have an HP 3120n computer and I am getting real high cpu usage on idle.
It is "system - kernel and NT" process that is making it around 50%. I tried turning off every process I could, and it was still there.
:-
It is around 3% right now with the "system" process at around 3%. Then I play an HD-DVD...runs perfectly at 1080p. Then I stop it, close powerdvd, then check and it is around 50% and doesnt go away. I turn off all the processes I can...still there at around 50%. Then I attempt to load powerdvd and play an hd-dvd again and I cant because the video is kind of choppy so it is unwatchable due to the cpu load.
Any ideas?
